    Communication skills

    In order to improve and enhance communication skills among students a 10 hours’ workshop was conducted .The resource person for the workshop was Mr. Ronak Sanghvi, senior manager of Sony SAB Television. He guided students on below topic-

  • Gauging need gap in communication of students.
  • Oral exercises
  • Improving pronunciations
  • Sentence Framing
  • Pauses, Emphasis and Impact
  • Q&A sessions
    Overall more than 100 students took benefit of this workshop

    Vedic Maths Workshop for First Year students on 18th July, 2019

    IQAC conducted Vedic Maths Workshop for First Year students on 18th July, 2019 in room no.210. The workshop was conducted by Mr. Vishesh Nadiyana who is director of CPLC and Alumni of IIM, Kolkata. 101 students were benefitted by attending the above workshop. The workshop consists of the various techniques of Vedic Maths. After completion of the workshop students will be given participation certificates from CPLC.

    An Mock fire drill program on 23rd March , 2019

    An Mock fire drill program on 23rd March , 2019 for all the teaching ,non teaching staff and Students of Shailendra Education Society in college Premises. During the program a practical session on "How to use Fire Estiguisher during fire accident" was also held on the ground. A practical evacuation was done under 12 min. to assess disaster preparedness.

    ONE DAY WORKSHOP ON IPR, 15th March , 2019

    Shailendra Education Society’s Arts, Commerce & Science College had conducted One Day Workshop on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), on 15th of March , 2019 at A.V. Room. Ms. Sangeeta Pal ,IPR Practitioner, Registered Trade Mark Attorney ,Jogeshwari (E), Mumbai was invited as resource person for the same . The workshop was conducted with the aim to augment knowledge of faculty members on Intellectual Property Rights . Following topics were discussed at length :
    What is Patent, The Patents Act,1970 & The Patent Rules,2010, Types of Patentable subject matter, Legal Requirement for Patentability, Inventions not Patentable and Patent Application & Registration.
    Workshop was highly educative and appreciated by all staff members.

    Bank Nationalisation Day

    On completion of 50 years of Bank Nationalisation, Department of Banking and Insurance organised an event on 18th July, 2018 comprising of poster making competition, PPT presentation competition and Quiz competition for celebrating glorious journey of banking.

    More than 100 students participated in the event. At the end three prizes for each competition were given by special guest Mr. Devidas Tuljapurkar, Special Assistant, Bank of Maharashtra. The winners of the competitions were-
