Industrial Visit-Jaipur 15th January, 2023 to 20th January, 2023

Industrial visits are an essential part of the academic curriculum in most of the Graduate and Post-graduate courses. Keeping this in mind an industrial visit to Jaipur was arranged for 6 days and 5 nights from 15th January, 2023 to 20th January, 2023 for students with an objective of providing them an opportunity to explore the different industry sectors like IT, manufacturing, services, finance and marketing. Total 124 students participated in this visit.

Industrial Visit to Nainital-Corbett 29th January, 2020 to 4th February, 2020

Industrial Visit was conducted from 29th January, 2020 to 4th February, 2020 to Nainital-Corbett. 81 students from T.Y.B.B.I, T.Y.B.M.S & T.Y.B.Sc.(IT) accompanied by two teachers attended the visit. Soothing and scenic beauty of Naini lake, Sattal lake gave mesmerizing experience to students.

To give spiritual touch, students were taken to the temple of Shri Naina Devi Ji, and Gajjra Devi Ji. Next students visited ‘The Mall Road’ of Nainital, which runs parallel to the Naini Lake, connecting the two ends of the hill town, and is the prime shopping place. Students continued shopping in Tibetan Market which is popular for extensive variety of woolens and winter wears.

Industrial visit was arranged for students in Dainik Jagran. Students were guided by Mr. Sanjay Kumar Arya-Brand Manager and and Mr. Suraj Mehra, Public Sales and Marketing executive about various aspects of their industry. Mr. Ragvir Chadda, General Manager of Dainik Jagran shared his insights about the print industry with students.

Students also enjoyed Jungle-Safari in Corbett. Overall the industrial visit to Nainital-Corbett was informative and joyful visit.

Visit to BSE(Bombay Stock Exchange) 05th December, 2019

The Bombay Stock Exchange is the oldest stock exchange in Asia. It has played a very large part of India’s economy over the last two decades. It has involved India’s growing middle class and turned savings to investment. It has also contributed to bringing technology into the financial sector. It introduced BOLT (BSE online trading system) in 1995 to promote transparency and eliminate any errors. The BSE has also taken many initiatives to educate and train investors and traders. The idea is to provide maximum investor protection.

BSE Institute Ltd (BIL), is a wholly owned subsidiary of BSE Ltd, and a niche player in providing specialized educational programs, training and certification in Capital Markets. With a diverse mix of participants, experiential and holistic learning, faculty with vast industry experience, and strong corporate involvement, learning at BSE Institute Ltd. is a unique experience.

Their programs helped learners by providing:
1. Timely inputs to acquire the knowledge and skills needed for current and future jobs.
2. Opportunity for professional and personal growth.
3. Empowerments to problem-solve and make accountable and responsible decisions.

On the similar lines, Our College had arranged a Field visit to BSE (Bombay Stock Exchange) on 05th December, 2019. Total 173 students participated in the visit from self- finance streams. Mr. Salim Ali Sayed, Sr. Academic Counselor, BSE Institute Limited gave introduction of BSE. Further Mr. Rakesh Nair, Faculty in BSE explained the technological advancement in banking sector, Blog chain, Digitialisation of Demat Account, BOLTS, Artificial Intelligence, concept of Sensex etc. Live trading on screen was shown to students to give feel of actual working of stock market. The session concluded with BSE Master Mind Scholarship Test, in which our FYBMS student Ms. Chaitali khumbhar stood first among 700 students from various other colleges who had participated in this test.
In all it was great experience for the students and so students demanded such more visits in future.

Industrial Visit on 20th & 21st August 2019

Industrial visits are an integral part of Self finance course as it helps students in their academic growth. An industrial visit was organized at Alibaugh for FY and SY students of BBI, BMS & Bsc (IT) on 20th & 21st August 2019 for one night and two days. One hundred and seven students along with four faculty members (Asst.Prof. Pooja Tripathi , Asst.Prof. Ameya Ghatge, Asst. Prof Swapna Gawde & Asst Prof Rupali Ingale ) had accompanied students for the visit. Accommodation was arranged at “ The Fern Silvanus Resort ”.

Students visited “Parle Industry” where in students got practical exposure of working of the company like production, quality control, safety measures, technology etc.

Industrial Visit from 4th Feb, 2019 to 8th Feb 2019 at Indore-Ujjain

Industrial Visit was conducted from 4th Feb, 2019 to 8th Feb 2019 at Indore-Ujjain. 41 students participated in the above tour. Students were taken to Kriti Industries Ltd. for enhancing their knowledge on production, raw material management, packaging etc. Further students were taken to Observatory, Central Museum, Lal Bagh Palace, Chappan Mandir, Rajwada Palace, Rajwada Cloth market, Vikramadtiya TIlla, Sarafa Bazaa,Bhartrihari caves for site scene. Also students were taken to Mahakaleshwar temple, Kalbhairav Temple

Industrial visits September, 2018

Industrial visits are an integral part of Self finance course as it helps students in their academic growth. An industrial visit was organized at Nashik for FY and SY students of BBI, BMS & Bsc (IT) on 04th & 05th September, 2018 for one night and two days. Fifty-six students along with two faculty members (Asst.Prof. Pooja Tripathi & Asst.Prof. Ameya Ghatge) had accompanied students for the visit. Accommodation was arranged at “Meuse Jupiter Hotel”.

Students visited “Lokmat Industry” where in students got practical exposure of working of the company like production, quality control, safety measures, technology etc.

Industrial visits January 2018

Industrial visit was carried out at Goa from 15thjan 2018 to 19thjan 2018 for TYBBI/TYBMS/TYBSCIT Students. Total two facilities and 49 students visited Goa.

The Industries visited were Chowgule & company private limited and Goa diary. Asst. manager from both the organization briefed students about process, operations and commercial aspects of the industry. The student were provided with deep insights about the working of the plant and each and every question was of students were patiently answer by the managers. StudentS were also taken for sight seen at Baga beach, Boat cruise, Aguada Fort, Basilica church. So industrial visit gave greater clarity about various management concepts for students as they can practically see how three concepts are put into action.

Industrial visits September 2017

Industrial visits are an integral part of Self finance course as it helps students in their academic growth. An industrial visit was organized at Silvassa for FY and SY students of BBI, BMS & Bsc (IT) on 17th & 18th September, 2017 for one night and two days. Ninety-one students along with four faculty members (Asst.Prof. Anita Nair, Asst.Prof. Pooja Tripathi, Asst.Prof. Pushpa Barve & Asst.Prof. Ameya Ghatge) and one non- teaching staff (Mr. Devendra Madhye) had accompanied students for the visit. Accommodation was arranged at “Khanvel Resort”.

Students visited “Kitec Industry” (manufacturers of pipes) and “Alok Textile Industry” where in students got practical exposure of working of the company like production, quality control, safety measures, technology etc.
